Confident with Technology, at Any Age

Learn just what you need, one step at a time, without waiting for anyone else to do it for you.

Technology Explained, Patiently

Friendly, practical help for women in mid-life and beyond who want to handle their own technology with confidence. Perhaps you run your own business, look after the membership or newsletter for a club or charity, or would simply like to manage your phone, emails and online accounts yourself.

Perhaps you have started a tutorial that lost you within five minutes, because the person on screen assumed you already knew the language. Perhaps you are tired of waiting for a son, daughter or grandchild to find the time to "just sort it out" for you.

You do not need to learn everything. You need someone patient to show you the few things that will make a real difference this week, and which ones you can safely ignore for now.

What you can learn

•     Your iPhone, iPad and computer, set up the way that suits you
•     Email, calendars and staying organised
•     Word, Excel and Google tools for letters, lists and budgets
•     Canva for flyers, social media posts and newsletters
•     WhatsApp groups, Zoom meetings and keeping in touch
•     Websites, online payments and membership tools for small businesses and clubs
•     Using AI assistants such as Claude safely and sensibly

The aim is simple: to help you feel confident, capable and independent with technology, so you never have to wait for someone else to do it for you.
